DDS (Daily Deviation Suggestions - Week #1)

Every weekend DesignSpot will pick its best featured submissions and suggest them for a Daily Deviation Award on deviantART, part of a program coordinated by gallery moderator `Lilyas

This week is the first for 2011, we will look through submissions accepted since 1st January and all members are welcome to suggest DDs.

Guidelines

• Suggest designs that were added since January 1st, 2011
• Do not suggest your own designs
• The suggested designs must be of high quality and exceptional
• You are allowed to suggest more than one design
• Write a comment of why the design should be suggested
• Designs and suggestions must be discussed on Facebook! [link]

FAQ

How can I become a Contributor?

If you are already a member of DS, leave the group and rejoin. When it asks in which position you want to join, select "Contributors". Now the vote will begin, you will need 7 votes by other Contributors who wants to see you as a Contributor into the group, best luck!

If you aren't a member, do the same but without leaving the group before.


When I try to join as a Contributor I receive the message "The group isn't accepting Contributors anymore" - why?

At the moment deviantArt set a limit of 99 Contributors per group. All you can do now is waiting for a free position. We are looking for a better solution, maybe we will change some permissions soon, stay tuned.


My application has been declined - WHAT???

Maybe your work does not meet our high quality standards, maybe you are not a web/logo/icon designer, maybe there is another reason. All you can do now is to accept the choice of the 7 Members who voted to decline. Of course if no reason was given, you can ask the Members who declined your application for a reason, if you still think that you should be a part of Contributors, note one of the admin with some true reasons why you should.


How to submit my work?

First of all, be sure you are a Contributor of the group. Now click on "Gallery" at the left sidebar. You can see now the categories where you can submit your work: Featured, Webdesigns, Logo Designs, Icon Design. (The Featured Folder is locked, if your work has an amazing quality, your work will become featured here but you can't decide that.) At every folder you can see a small "+" on the top right side. Click onto it and submit your work. Be sure to choose the correct Folder!


My submission got declined, why?

This is a good question, the best answer you will get by asking the members who declined in the comments section directly.


Am I allowed to vote for my own work?

No. If it still happens, there is a chance that your work will be removed from the groups gallery.

Hello Logo Designers!
Did you ever wonder about how to present a logo the best way ?
Please check out my 3D Logo Mockup then.
I thought about making a kind of giveaway.
